Unauthenticated SSRF via unrestricted image proxy URL
Published Mar 30, 2026 · Updated Mar 30, 2026
SSRF in Tautulli before 2.17.0 allows remote attackers to make Plex Media Server probe attacker-selected HTTP URLs. Unauthenticated /pms_image_proxy requests pass an img value beginning with http to Plex's /photo/:/transcode URL parameter without a scheme or host restriction. Exploitation requires a configured Plex connection and yields blind internal service discovery and Plex version disclosure rather than response-body access.
