Kernel memory disclosure via unchecked notification length
Published May 1, 2026 · Updated May 1, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Linux Kernel allows remote attackers to disclose kernel memory or crash the system through adjacent Wi-Fi activity. In iwl_mvm_nd_match_info_handler(), memcpy() copies match entries before packet length validation accounts for the dynamic matches array. Reachability requires an affected Intel wireless device using the iwlwifi MVM path; the published assessment reports no integrity impact.
