Kernel crash via unchecked I/O port write

Denial of service in the Linux kernel dt2815 Comedi driver allows local users to crash the kernel via COMEDI_DEVCONFIG. The dt2815_attach path writes to an arbitrary I/O port without first confirming that DT2815 hardware is present, and outb() can fault when the port is unbacked. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access, the dt2815 driver, selection of an unused I/O address, and a favorable race; the bounded impact is a kernel crash and service interruption.
