Authenticated code execution via unchecked sprintf
Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F453 1.0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted RouteStatic request. The httpd fromRouteStatic function passes the user-controlled page parameter to sprintf without checking its length, overflowing the stack buffer s. Low-privileged web-management access is required; exploitation can crash the service or execute code on the appliance.
