CVE-2026-31643

Local service interruption via rejected RxGK key leak

Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026

Memory leak in Linux Kernel 6.16 through 6.18.22 and 6.19 through 6.19.12 allows local users to exhaust kernel memory. rxrpc_preparse_xdr_yfs_rxgk() allocates token->rxgk but fails to free it when subsequent parsing transfers control to reject_token. Local low-privileged users must supply RxGK key data that reaches a reject path; repeated submissions can interrupt system availability through memory exhaustion.
