CVE-2026-3155Network attack vector

Subscriber-level post metadata deletion via unchecked post_id

Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026

Missing authorization in OneSignal – Web Push Notifications 3.8.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete post metadata. The plugin's authenticated AJAX handler accepts an attacker-supplied post_id and deletes the associated OneSignal metadata without checking whether the caller may edit that post. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the effect is limited to OneSignal metadata for arbitrary WordPress posts.
