Kernel crash via non-linear IP-TFS reassembly
Published Apr 22, 2026 · Updated Apr 22, 2026
Denial of service in Linux Kernel 6.14, 6.14.1 through 6.18.20, and 6.19 through 6.19.10 allows local users to trigger a kernel panic. iptfs_reassem_cont() makes newskb non-linear through its zero-copy path, then passes it to skb_put() when a later fragment requires copying, triggering SKB_LINEAR_ASSERT. Low-privilege local access and IP-TFS reassembly of fragments with mixed fast-path eligibility are required; the consequence is a host-wide crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
