Local service interruption via resumed display memory leak
Published Apr 22, 2026 · Updated Apr 22, 2026
Memory leak in Linux Kernel 6.13 through 6.18.20 and 6.19 through 6.19.10 allows local users to exhaust kernel memory during resume. In amdgpu_dm.c, the resume path overwrites aconnector->drm_edid for a connected display sink without freeing the prior allocation. An affected AMD display stack, a connected sink, local access, and repeated resume cycles are required to consume memory and interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
