Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Use of default credentials in IBM API Connect 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.0.2 allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized application access. The application accepts a default credential before the system enforces a credential update; IBM has not disclosed the affected account or endpoint. Network access and the pre-update window are required, and successful access exposes application data and functions to unauthorized control.
