Account impersonation via unverified login cookie
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
Improper authentication in Apache OFBiz before 24.09.06 allows remote attackers to impersonate accounts through manipulated login cookies. LoginWorker.getSecuredUserLoginId accepts the plaintext securedLoginId cookie without verifying that it matches the identity in the securedLoginToken JWT. A crafted remote request can assume another account's identity for limited data access, with no published integrity or availability impact.
