Administrative OS command execution via unsanitized external-app commands

OS command injection in OpenLiteSpeed and LiteSpeed Web Server allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands. Administrative external-application command values reach an OS command context without sufficient neutralization of shell metacharacters. Exploitation requires administrative access to the network-reachable WebAdmin console; successful commands can read or alter server data and interrupt hosted services.
