Unauthenticated filter configuration deletion via AJAX dispatch
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
Missing authorization in Product Filter for WooCommerce by WBW 3.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete all filter configurations. The MVC framework registers unauthenticated AJAX handlers, its __call() method forwards undefined actions to models, and havePermissions() defaults to true. No account is required; action=delete reaches the model's table truncation operation and permanently removes every saved filter configuration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
