Arbitrary file write via unsafe upload paths
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
Path traversal in Apache OFBiz before 24.09.06 allows remote attackers to write files outside Catalog Manager upload directories. Catalog Manager joins attacker-controlled upload paths to server storage paths without enforcing directory containment and accepts active file content. No authentication is required, but a user must interact with stored content; code execution depends on the file reaching an executable location.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
