Unauthenticated URL allowlist bypass via jar wrapper
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
Improper input validation in Apache OFBiz before 24.09.06 allows remote attackers to bypass URL host restrictions with crafted jar URLs. UtilXml.readXmlDocument validates the empty host of the outer jar wrapper, then opens the inner URL without checking its host against the configured allowlist. No authentication or user interaction is required; the public advisory does not identify the request entry point or a code-execution consequence.
