Stored script execution via unsanitized category names
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Stored XSS in the Category module of Feehi CMS 2.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted Name value. Category creation stores the Name value without sanitization or filtering, and that value is rendered on the home page, articles, and category listings. An authenticated account must create the category and a victim must view a page that renders it, enabling script execution in the victim's browser and cookie theft.
