Sensitive resource disclosure via unvalidated asset URL
Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026
SSRF in the Asset field schema of CraftQL 1.3.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server resources via crafted GraphQL mutations. GetAssetsFieldSchema.php passes the mutation's url value directly to file_get_contents() and writes the response to a temporary asset without validating the scheme, host, or destination. Reachability requires Craft CMS 3.x, CraftQL enabled, an exposed Asset-field mutation, and a valid GraphQL token; demonstrations establish local-file and internal-resource disclosure, not code execution.
