Unauthenticated administrator creation via unchecked user insertion
Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Authorization bypass in megagao production_ssm 1.0 allows remote attackers to create super administrator accounts through a direct web request. UserController.java's insert() method accepts POST requests to /user/insert without verifying authentication or authorization before assigning the supplied role. Network access to the application is sufficient; a successful request grants full administrative control over the application and its data.
