Unauthenticated memory reset via exposed DELETE endpoint
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Missing authentication in the mem0 1.0.0 server allows remote attackers to reset stored memories through DELETE /memories. The endpoint invokes memory-reset and table-creation logic without authenticating the requester or checking authorization before issuing a CREATE TABLE statement. Network access to the server is sufficient to trigger schema disruption, stored-memory loss, or a service interruption without user interaction.
