Unauthenticated database deletion via memory reset endpoint
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Missing authentication in the mem0 1.0.0 server allows remote attackers to delete its memory database through the DELETE /memories endpoint. The endpoint invokes the reset operation without verifying identity or permission, and the operation executes DROP TABLE against the memory table. Any network client that can reach the endpoint can erase all stored memories and interrupt the service for every user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
