Remote code execution via unsafe operand evaluation
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Code injection in Superduper through 0.10.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary system commands via crafted queries. The _parse_op_part() function in query.py passes a user-supplied query operand to eval() with globals that still expose dangerous built-ins, allowing injected Python to import modules and invoke system commands. Exploitation requires no privileges but does require user interaction, and successful code execution can compromise the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
