Remote code execution via unsafe model deserialization
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Insecure deserialization in Snorkel 0.10.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted model file. MultitaskClassifier.load passes model weights to torch.load without weights_only=True, allowing Pickle to instantiate attacker-controlled Python objects. Exploitation requires a victim process to load the supplied file, after which code runs with that process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
