Authenticated service crash via signed TKEY query

Denial of service in affected Internet Systems Consortium BIND 9 releases allows remote authenticated users to crash the named DNS server. ISC maps the flaw to a reachable assertion in TKEY processing but has not disclosed the assertion site or the state that triggers it. A query must carry a valid TSIG from a key declared in named's configuration; versions 9.20.0 through 9.20.20, 9.21.0 through 9.21.19, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.20-S1 can terminate whether serving authoritative or recursive DNS.
