Integration disruption via unchecked GitLab commands
Published May 18, 2026 · Updated May 18, 2026
Missing authorization in the Mattermost GitLab plugin allows remote authenticated users to disrupt integrations through administrative commands. The instance and webhook command handlers process normal-user requests without the administrator permission checks required to uninstall an instance or configure webhook connections. Any normal account that can issue slash commands can alter GitLab integration availability, but the published impact does not include data disclosure or broader server control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
