Unauthenticated command execution via dhcpMtu injection
Published Apr 23, 2026 · Updated Apr 23, 2026
Command injection in ToToLink A3300R firmware 17.0.0cu.557_B20221024 allows remote attackers to execute commands via dhcpMtu. The sub_422380 handler passes the request value through Uci_Set_Str, which inserts it with sprintf into a command that CsteSystem sends to execv. A crafted network request to /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi reaches this path without authentication and runs injected commands with the router service's privileges.
