Stored XSS via unsanitized collection names
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Stored XSS in Bynder 0.1.394 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser through a collection name. The collections workflow stores a crafted name without sufficient output neutralization; dashboard search renders it, and hovering over the name triggers its event-handler payload. An attacker must log in and create the collection, and a victim must search for and hover over its name; the script then runs in the victim's Bynder origin.
