Guest user ID disclosure via omitted view restrictions
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Incorrect authorization in affected Mattermost Server releases allows remote authenticated users to enumerate otherwise hidden user IDs. The group retrieval endpoint returns member IDs without applying the view restrictions that ordinarily limit a guest's user visibility. Affected releases are 10.11.0 through 10.11.10, 11.2.0 through 11.2.2, 11.3.0 through 11.3.1, and 11.4.0; guest access is sufficient, and exposure is limited to user identifiers.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
