Authenticated router crash via unbounded timestart copy
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Buffer overflow in UTT Aggressive HiPER 810G v3 firmware 1.7.7-171114 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to crash the router. ConfigAdvideo passes the timestart form value to strcpy at an instance buffer offset without checking its length, so an oversized value overwrites memory. An administrator on an adjacent network can reach the HTTP form handler and interrupt device service; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.
