Confidentiality loss via stored interface script injection
Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in HostBill 2025-11-24 and 2025-12-01 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in web sessions. HostBill stores attacker-supplied markup and renders it in its admin and client interfaces without safe output encoding; the public proof of concept does not identify the affected field. Exploitation requires high privileges, and the published assessment limits demonstrated impact to reading sensitive data through the affected web context.
