CVE-2026-31017Network attack vector

Internal service access via PDF resource fetching

Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

SSRF in ERPNext 16.0.1 and Frappe Framework 16.1.1 allows remote attackers to access internal services through PDF generation. The Print Format renderer passes insufficiently sanitized HTML to wkhtmltopdf, which fetches URLs embedded in iframe and image elements from the server. No account is required according to published scoring, and crafted PDF content can reach internal services or cloud metadata endpoints and disclose sensitive data.
