Crash and memory disclosure via unchecked matrix index
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in iccDEV before 2.3.1.5 allows local users to crash an application or disclose memory through crafted ICC profiles. CIccPcsXform::pushXYZConvert reads matrix elements without verifying that the supplied matrix has the expected size, so a malformed profile drives an index past the allocated heap buffer. Exploitation requires application processing of attacker-supplied profiles with user interaction; no integrity impact is reported.
