Unauthenticated file read via unsanitized component path
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Path traversal in OneUptime before 10.0.21 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through a crafted workflow-docs request. The unauthenticated endpoint concatenates componentName into a path passed to res.sendFile() without validation or authentication middleware. Network access alone exposes files readable by the worker, including environment secrets that enable forged administrator tokens.
