CVE-2026-30957Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated RCE via exposed Playwright browser object

Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026

Exposed dangerous methods in OneUptime before 10.0.21 allow remote authenticated users to execute commands on the probe server. Synthetic Monitor code runs in Node's vm with live host-realm Playwright browser and page objects, letting it call BrowserType.launch with an attacker-controlled executable path. Ordinary project membership and permission to create or edit a Synthetic Monitor are sufficient; execution inherits the probe container's access to internal services and secrets.
