Code execution via DPAX out-of-bounds write
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Delta Electronics CNCSoft-G2 before 2.1.0.39 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted DPAX file. The DOPSoft component fails to validate user-supplied DPAX data before parsing it, causing a write past the end of an allocated data structure. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file, and the resulting code runs with the privileges of the current CNCSoft-G2 process.
