Unauthenticated process crash via prototype-chain function lookup

Prototype-chain resolution in Parse Platform Parse Server before 8.6.13 and 9.0.0 through 9.5.1-alpha.1 allows remote attackers to crash the process. Cloud Function dispatch looks up untrusted function names in handler registries that resolve inherited Object prototype properties, and a recursive property exhausts the call stack. Exposure of the Cloud Function endpoint is the only reported gate; other inherited names and dot traversal return success for undefined functions without terminating the process.
