Content injection in Flarum Nicknames before 1.8.3 allows remote authenticated users to embed deceptive links in notification emails. The extension accepts dots and Markdown link characters in nicknames and inserts the stored display name verbatim into plain-text email bodies. Exploitation requires the extension, a registered account, a triggered notification, and a recipient who follows the attacker-controlled link.
