Authenticated private activity disclosure via missing authorization
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Information disclosure in Discourse allows remote authenticated users to view another user's private activity through a user-actions request. The user actions endpoint returns private action types without enforcing authorization for the requested target user. A valid account and another user's identifier are required; exposure is limited to activity data, with no reported write access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
