Unauthenticated playlist disclosure via unchecked user ID
Published Mar 9, 2026 · Updated Mar 9, 2026
Insecure direct object reference in WWBN AVideo before 25.0 allows remote attackers to read users’ playlist data without authentication. The playlistsFromUser.json.php endpoint passes an attacker-supplied users_id to PlayList::getAllFromUser with public-only filtering disabled. Any network client can enumerate user IDs and obtain playlist names, video IDs, and status, but the flaw does not permit modification.
