Authenticated browser script execution via unencoded pagination keyword
Published Mar 16, 2026 · Updated Mar 16, 2026
Reflected XSS in Chamilo LMS 1.11.34 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a user's browser. The session category listing page inserts the keyword request value into a pagination href attribute without encoding, so a quote and angle bracket escape the attribute context. Exploitation requires a crafted keyword request to be opened while pagination controls are rendered, which occurs only when more than 20 session categories exist; injected script runs in the affected user's Chamilo origin.
