CVE-2026-30875Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via crafted H5P package

Published Mar 16, 2026 · Updated Mar 16, 2026

Arbitrary file upload in Chamilo LMS before 1.11.36 allows remote authenticated users with Teacher access to execute code through H5P import. H5P validation checks only for h5p.json and accepts a package containing a webshell plus .htaccess rules that make .txt files execute as PHP. Teacher-level access to the H5P Import feature is required, after which code runs with the web server account and exposes server data and database credentials.
