CVE-2026-3085Network attack vector

Remote code execution via unchecked RTP payload length

Published Mar 13, 2026 · Updated Mar 13, 2026

Heap overflow in GStreamer gst-plugins-good 1.28 before 1.28.1 and 1.26.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code. The rtpqdm2depay element copies a user-controlled payload length into a heap buffer without first validating that the destination is large enough. Processing an attacker-supplied X-QDM RTP stream in a consuming application is required; successful exploitation runs code in that process, while failure can crash it.
