Cross-board data modification via unscoped field lookup
Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026
IDOR in WeKan 8.32 through 8.33 allows remote authenticated users to modify custom fields on boards they cannot administer. The custom-fields handlers authorize the supplied board ID, then update CustomFields records by field ID alone without checking board membership. Owning any board and learning a foreign field ID through an allowed board export is sufficient to alter that board's field definitions and dropdown items.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
