Reflected XSS via unescaped password-reset parameters
Published Mar 7, 2026 · Updated Mar 7, 2026
Reflected XSS in ellite Wallos before 4.6.2 allows remote attackers to execute script in a browser through password-reset parameters. passwordreset.php inserts token and email request values directly into HTML value attributes without contextual escaping, allowing attribute breakout. No authentication is required; a crafted password-reset request can execute injected script without restriction because the response lacks a Content Security Policy.
