Unauthenticated NoSQL injection via unvalidated username selector

NoSQL injection in affected Rocket.Chat releases allows remote attackers to alter MongoDB login queries through the DDP WebSocket. The loginViaUsername flow passes the client-supplied username directly to Users.findOne as a MongoDB selector without enforcing a primitive string. Remote attackers can select unintended user records and log in without a full username; the advisory does not establish arbitrary account takeover.
