Script execution via unsanitized dashboard identifier
Published Aug 21, 2026 · Updated Aug 21, 2026
Reflected XSS in Combodo iTop before 3.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a victim's browser via dashboard reversion. In pages/ajax.render.php, revert_dashboard accepted dashboard_id as raw data and embedded it in generated JavaScript; the patch applies a context-parameter filter before JSON encoding. Exploitation requires a low-privilege iTop account and user interaction, and successful script execution can read or alter iTop data accessible to the victim.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
