CVE-2026-30814Public exploit

Code execution via unchecked website-name copy

Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in tmpServer in TP-Link Archer AX53 v1.0 before 1.7.1 Build 20260213 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The opcode 0x436 handler copies website names from restored parental-control configuration into a 0x100-byte stack buffer one byte at a time without enforcing its length. Exploitation requires authenticated management access, a restored configuration containing a website name longer than 0x100 bytes, and a request for that owner's filtered-site list; the overflow can crash tmpServer or execute code on the router.
