Privilege escalation via unrestricted API Checker requests
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Pandora FMS 777 through 800 allows remote authenticated users to elevate privileges through API Checker. The extension exposes PFMS API 1.0 command execution to non-superadmin console accounts instead of enforcing the superadmin role. A low-privileged console account is required, and successful requests can reach internal services and obtain elevated application capabilities.
