Credential disclosure in RustDesk Client 1.4.5 and earlier allows local users to recover stored permanent passwords and peer secrets. The symmetric_crypt() path derives its XSalsa20-Poly1305 key from the readable machine identifier and encrypts stored configuration values with a fixed all-zero nonce. A low-privileged account on a desktop with a permanent password or saved peers can reproduce the key and decrypt those values without user interaction.
