Administrative credential disclosure via SSI password retrieval
Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026
Information disclosure in Shenzhen Yuner Yipu WDR201A firmware LFMZX28040922V1.02 allows remote attackers to obtain the admin password. Server Side Include directives in login.shtml and settings.shtml read the current password from non-volatile memory and place it in rendered HTTP responses. Network access to the embedded management interface is sufficient; disclosure grants the device's administrative credential and enables configuration changes.
