CVE-2026-3067Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file write via unchecked archive paths

Published Feb 24, 2026 · Updated Feb 24, 2026

Path traversal in HummerRisk 1.0 through 1.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files via crafted archives. The extractTarGZ and extractZip methods in CommandUtils concatenate untrusted archive entry names with the destination path and write files without verifying that canonical paths remain beneath the extraction directory. Valid credentials and file-upload permission are required; extraction writes with the application's filesystem privileges and can enable code execution.
