Remote code execution via unchecked module setup content
Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026
Code injection in DedeCMS 5.7.118 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP through crafted module setup content. DedeModule::GetSystemFile base64-decodes the uploaded setup block without the file-content checks used elsewhere, and module_main.php includes the resulting PHP. The exploit must supply a module package whose setup block is installed; the injected PHP then executes in the server context.
